Each year, hundreds of Thais and Farangs alike visit their Arjahn, or teacher, to get their sak yant tattoos blessed and re-energized. After you make an offering and hold the severed pigs head (no idea?) to Arjahn Thoy, one of Thailand's most famous and respected artists, he chants for your tattoo and gives his blessing. Some people really feel the spirit and their bodies seem almost possessed momentarily. Quite the spectacle to witness and feel honored to participate.
